The Stage-size Customizable Two Card Monte -

With A Killer Ending!

"...a clever stand-up hunk. Look up "packs small, plays big" in the dictionary. You'll see a picture of this trick. The routine is simple to do and offers lots of opportunities for by-play with the spectator." - Michael Close, September 2002, MAGIC magazine

"This is the perfect parlor/stage effect for all audiences. And, since there is no sweeter sound than a person's own name, your spectator not only feels like a celebrity - he becomes the star of the show!"

Effect:
The magician writes his name in large letters across the face of a jumbo blank card. After the spectator does the same with his card, both cards are placed behind the magicians' back. One card is then brought to the front - with only the back of the card showing. With a little mental help from the magician, the spectator correctly guesses the name on the card behind the magician's back every time! Finally, one of the cards vanishes, then reappears on the spectator's back!

Dry erase markers are used. And, since the cards are specially made with dry erase surfaces, the routine possibilities are endless!

Here are just a few:

Corporate: Affix your client's logo (sticker) in the middle of a blank side. When it finally appears on the spectator's back say something like, "...At (XYZ Company), we're always behind you." Or, "...at (XYZ), we've got your back."
Mentalism: Use geometric shapes like a circle, star, square, etc.
Patriotic: Flag colored markers, etc.

Juggling Scarves

After 27 years of experience, Randy considers scarf juggling to be the
fastest and easiest method for learning how to juggle. Scarves take a
long time to fall. They give the beginner time to think about their next
move. These scarves float smoothly and slowly through the air. Great
for hand-eye coordination, juggling scarves are the perfect choice for
anyone who wants to learn how to juggle in minutes!

Juggling Rings - Skyro by Parker Brothers

A website exclusive! These are off the market and no longer available
to the general public - except right here! Skyro was the first long distance
flying ring ever made. About a million of these were sold back in the
1980’s after it set a Guinness world record with a throw of 242.5 yards!
Fortunately, at that time Randy was teaching a weekly juggling class and,
once he saw what they could REALLY be used for, grabbed a shipment
of these! Skyro’s are made of rubber - GREAT for learning ring juggling!
Most juggling rings are made of hard plastic or wood. When first
learning to juggle rings, something a little easier on the hands is
preferred. Skyros toss, catch and act just like regular juggling rings but your hands won’t get beat up! Randy's juggling students love these! While supply lasts. Once they're gone - they're gone!

Todd Smith Devilsticks

As seen in Randy’s show! The first thing that has to be said about
Devil Sticks is that they have nothing to do with the devil. The name
comes from the Greek word “devil” which means “to throw across.”
Exactly when the Devil Sticks were first invented is unknown. Thought
to originate in China, it involves manipulating a central decorated stick
with two control sticks. The devil stick is also known by a number of
other names such as rhythm stick, quickstix or flower stick (each is
slightly different, but perform largely the same purpose - to “dance”
under your total control)! The Devil stick can “defy gravity” because
when one of the contact points is hit (1/4 and 3/4 of the way up), it gets
a little lift. Each Todd Smith Devilstick is made from kiln dried poplar
lumber. Rubber ends are adhered to the Devilstick for additional
uniformity and silicone-coated hand sticks ensure the best possible
control. Durable cloth protects from drops. It’s fun for kids and adults,
and makes a great gift for beginning and advanced jugglers. Please
specify Red or Black.
